The Virtual Assistant and Productivity

You’re a student, but you have a lot of responsibilities. You probably have to take care of yourself, maybe your roomies too, and you have to go to class. It’s not easy being a student, but it’s even harder when you don’t have the time or energy for anything else. For example: if I need help with something in my classes I feel like I’m bothering my classmates by asking questions. Sometimes it seems like there’s no one else who understands what I’m going through; everyone around me is so much older than me and has already been through college before! They all start their day at 7am and end it at 5pm (or later). Then they can do whatever they want after that! If this sounds like something that could be frustrating for someone in college, then you’d be right! But we make it work somehow; we get through our days without becoming too tired or stressed out over everything we need to do.

The Virtual Assistant

I was talking with one of my friends about how sometimes she felt too busy and stressed out because she couldn’t get stuff done on her own–and then someone mentioned working with a virtual assistant (VA). First off: what is a VA? A virtual assistant can be anyone from anywhere that helps an individual or business get things done online/offline such as booking travel plans, making calls to set up meetings etc., etc., etc. I have a scheduling VA who helps me take care of all my appointments and set up meetings with professors, tutors, etc. I also have a VA who has helped me build backlinks to my website–which in turn helps to boost my page ranking so I can get more traffic. So what are the benefits of working with a VA?

Benefits of Working With a Virtual Assistant

1. You don’t have to worry about paying someone every time you need help with something. Say for instance you’re in school and your professor gives you an assignment that’s not due for two weeks; well if you hire someone locally, they’ll charge by the hour or day–so you’ll end up paying them even when the work isn’t being done! With a VA, there is no hourly rate or any other hidden fees involved. It’s one flat fee per project (or whatever it may be). This means that if your professor gives you an assignment that takes 10 minutes, then it only costs $5! The best part is that once the work is done, they send it right back to YOU! No crazy trips downtown to hand off stuff like some people do at their jobs–and I’m sure we’ve all had jobs similar than this before too čÖé

2. There are no limits on how much time they spend on each project: Some local assistants will only give three hours worth of work per week because “they can’t afford more than that”. That’s just ridiculous. I’ve had VAs spend as much time as I needed on a project, especially if there was something really important that needed to be done right away.

3. You don’t have to deal with commuting! When you work with a local assistant, sometimes they will charge you for gas money or time if they have to come downtown because “it’s too far”. A lot of the time it’s not even that far for an assistant to drive, but they’ll still charge you just because it’s convenient for them.

4. Your projects are handled quickly! This one is pretty obvious–but let me explain further: If your work is being done by someone who has their own business/works at home, then chances are they can get things done faster than someone who has to commute every day; plus the fact that there are no limits on how much help you can get makes it even better!

Why Would You Need One?

You may think “well why do I need one?”, but honestly there are many reasons why this would beneficial in any situation (especially school) especially when we’re talking about productivity; here are some reasons why: -You don’t want or need distractions (like phone calls and emails) when working on something important like your homework/assignments -It takes too long for someone else to answer questions–like family members or friends It seriously takes forever sometimes before my family members reply back.

If you’re in school and your professor gives you some projects that need to be done right away, and if your schedule is already busy and it’s hard to get around, then why not hire a virtual assistant for $5 an hour? Seriously! It’s cheap. If you’re not sure what kind of work they can do, go ahead and Google the word “virtual assistant” or search it on Craigslist. There are so many VAs out there who would love to work with you–and I’m sure one of them would be perfect for what you need!
